Getting ready to decorate for Christmas.

These yahoos had a hilarious time playing on the table last Saturday as I was getting everything ready to decorate for Christmas. It was a SUPER fun evening, and we realized it's quite nice to decorate in the living room now that there are lights in there. Ha!

Gingerbread Fred

Everett is loving this version of the Gingerbread Man and Caroline receives as a Christmas gift from Ms Frances (now MRS Frances) when she was in pre-K at Piper. Truthfully, I think Chris and Caro get a fair amount of enjoyment from hearing me do all the voices 246 times every day. :)

So last week I did this little felt craft with them and they both took it to a rather creative level.  

Tonight we're listening to carols and making gingerbread cookies. Everett prefers to beat the wolf at his game by eating the gingerbread man before he's cooked.

Catching on with reading

Everett has always enjoyed a few books and songs at bedtime, but recently his love for books has grown to where he aka for specific books or even reads to himself. Yay!
